Velocity clicks sold as damaged goods

Over the past month it had become common knowledge that the owner of Velocity Clicks known as Eric was running Velocity clicks as a scam site. There were many early rumours when the site first started that the owner was also involved with ICashOut which was another site with a poor record. The Canadian PTC owner can’t seem to get enough of scamming people and false advertising but luckily Eric isn’t so smart at it.

Many people who set up a site with the intention of scamming it’s members often hide their identity and there are sites that offer this service so nothing shows up on a whois check. With Velocity clicks the information was all there and by the time Eric had started placing people onto the been-paid list who had never received their payments the majority of users were catching onto his game.

It was easy to confirm the scam here as people who say they hadn’t been paid could clearly see their names manually placed on this “payments” list. Weather any of these individuals ever received it there were people who to this day were placed on the list who have not received any money. Not many people know that false advertising alone is illegal and is a factor with this website for failing to deliver on its promise of payment.

Now the website has been sold for a small fortune to seemingly unlucky buyer. The transaction was said to be a standard hand over with a promise that all outstanding outgoings would be paid before hand over. Who ever purchased the site made a foolish move to trust Eric as many of the people who didn’t receive payment on the list are still unpaid.

To conclude we feel that auction or sales sites that provide the service of website handovers need to hold a more investigative policy regarding PT sites in particular. What ever improvements can be made to this process the fact is that this site is as good as damaged goods with a tarnished name and outstanding payments. In short no one wants to know that they have purchased a 2nd hand scam site it will be very interesting to see what will come of this old hum dinger!

Velocity Clicks Scam

Yesterday we published an article regarding our findings at Velocity clicks which provided us with proof that they were false advertising their proof of payments. Within the article we asked people to contact us regarding their experiences regarding the site and since then we have received many emails that echo our findings and provide evidence of other wrong doings. One member provided us with this testimonial which shows their process of playing people on the paid list that were not paid.

“Then I wanted to contact with them again but they have no contact information on their website anymore. Also they are not replying the messaged that are send to vcnetwork@hotmail.com anymore.

Also I collected more then 20$ and tried to transfer them to my alertpay account. Couple days later they shows my name on Paid Proof page as they made my payment. About a week passed they I have nothing on my alertpay account. I contacted with alertpay and they say that they did not receive any payment from velocityclicks.”

As many of the people who emailed us their experiences we investigated a little deeper to find that the people emailing us with not the only ones getting the same treatment as such testimonials with the same details can be found at nearly every major PTC community.

There are of course a lot of rumors that this site is run by a well known scammer from a site that had already dealt its deeds. What we were interested in is what can be proven and every member who emailed or we found else where to have not been paid claiming they had be placed on the been paid list were indeed found on this list.

Many of these individuals had also purchased upgrades and referrals from the site only to have them all taken away by the admin claiming they were cheaters – no refunds of course. We now feel that the amount of evidence against this site is enough for us to place it in the black list at the confirmed -10. We strongly urge people not to purchase anything further from this site and to not waist your time clicking which such a strong risk of not getting paid.

We personally feel the owner of Velocity clicks has made a shoddy move to produce a paid list that consists of people who were not paid and did not give consent for their names to be placed on such a list. More importantly there is nothing professional here and yet again a common PTC site fraudster has failed to understand the basics of legitimate business.

We advice to those who feel they have a strong legal reclaim case here to check up this site on http://www.who.is as this will provide you with any legal contact information you require. We will be sure to contact this Canadian soon.

  Velocity Clicks

This is an advisory regarding the site Velocity clicks. There are of course many rumours about why this site has a dodgy set up but rumours are useless unless evidence is there however we have now seen that they are placing people on their beenpaid list who have received no money including the popular affiliate tibter. As this is false advertising and scams an individual we will be placing this site in the advisory of -5 until further evidence arises.

If you have any positive or negative experiences at Velocity Clicks please contact us at phil@uronlinebiz.com so our investigation can take more into account.
