After
some early research we have found that a large amount of people have
been scammed by Surfjunky. After a simple Google search on them you
can see how many testimonials of them being scam show up in the
search results. We have also recieved a number of testimonials from
our own members, telling quite upsetting stories about SurfJunky's
methods.
The
issue has been members have been working and reaching the minimum
pay out of $25.00 only to instead by sent pay, they are sent a
rather unprofessional vague e-mail telling them they have cheated
and their account will be erased with no pay check. How on earth can
every Surfjunky member be a cheat?
It doesn’t stop there. Some members have experienced
SurfJunky to discharge their members by
simply deleting their accounts once they near the payout date.
After all these people spent their time working with a promise of
pay only to be fed a lie that they cheated and have their
involvement erased. This makes Surfjunky nothing but a useless scam
and we strongly recommend no one sign up with them and you who have
sadly already done so to stop work for them before they waste more
of your time working for no money. This is the type of scam that
should be starved of members so we can help the public spend their
time working on something worth their time.
SurfJunky claim that you can make get up to $.75 per hour with
regular activity and that they have the highest payout rate than any
other competitor. They also state that they haven't been late with a
single account yet Payments are sent by PayPal, StormPay, e-Gold,
and by regular mail.
It
seems that they are big on false advertising since most of what they
claim on their index page is all lies. Given that half their
members who have come forward about their scammed accounts with surfjunky say that they were not paid when they were entitled to it.
We have also noticed that their How section of the website mentions
that payment is instant when it cannot be if payouts are only made
between the 1st and 15th of every month.
The
only honest page we were able to find on Surfjunky was their terms
of service which mentions that they reserve the right to delete any
members account at any time for any reason. This means by signing up
with SurfJunky you are saying its ok for them to scam you and to
delete your account before you are paid. Its no ones fault they
missed this because they also add that they have the right to change
they terms of service when ever they feel like it.
īTerms like this is not unusal with online money-making services but
it is rare to see that any company use them to profit on their
members in such an obvious and disgraceful way.
Probably after reading the first portion of their terms of service it
would be enough to put anyone off as to us this is a very
undesirable agreement. Another interesting contradiction to their
“instant” pay boast was found in their terms of service.
“Surf Junky will pay members when their balance
reaches the minimum payout rate set by Surf Junky, currently $25.00.
Once the member has reached payout their account will be reviewed
during the next payment period to be considered eligible to receive
payment. Payments will be made within 30 days or a reasonable time
after.”
Our
evaluation of SurfJunky did not require us to sign up ourselves.
Given the volume of outcry concerning people who have already been
scammed by them along with the honest terms of service which gives
them the right to scam you if you sign up. We chose not to agree to
let them scam us and instead do what we should do and that is to
tell you to stay well clear of them and do no use their service.
