The Perfect PT site 2 is here
“Get the
balance right”
A few months back we produced an article called The Perfect PT
Site. Since then we have had a great response off members who are
thinking about starting their own PT site since anyone with the
right intentions can do this. We have produced The Perfect PT Site 2
in order give advice to those who want to start one up and also help
those who have one up already to improve it.
The current state of the PTC industry is becoming fiercely
competitive and new sites that come into the equation have to work
harder to get their site trusted and substantial on members. We are
now finding sites are posting negative ads on their own site about
their rivals in order to gain higher trust in their site and
mistrust in their rivals. Since all the sites are doing this now no
ones a winner which causes all the sites to take damage from it.
This is because in general people are skeptical about any PTC and
the constant rival bashing causes this general mistrust to escalate.
The PTR industry is the slowest in terms of growth since these
sites general have very low rate click ads which take years to build
up to respectable payouts. We have often called PTR sites light
weight PTR depending on how small their rates are. The sites in this
corner of the industry also tend to be the most cloned sites around.
One of the most common scripts we find here are from the GPTnetwork
which can be easily recognized on a websites stats area.
One of the best ways to produce a PT site that will reach the top
ratings the fastest is to look around at existing PT sites and spot
their flaws generally in service. See if their forums are full of
late payment complaints or admin disputes. It can be hard to find a
PT site with an admin who responds professionally as we have only
found a hand full so far.

As mentioned in the last article good service is one of the most
important things to maintain when working with a PT site. If your
member rates increases to 5000 chances are you will start to get
many emails a day regarding your site. Not every email will be
polite and you will get complaints of all natures from possible
server problems or improvement demands. It’s crucial you respond in
a calm manner to any email regardless of their manner to you.
Unfortunately there are many PT site administrators out there who
believe if they own the site they are the always right and no one
can say a word against them. We have found this after trying to give
feedback to such websites only to have an angry reply from an
administrator who couldn’t take constructive criticism. Of course
that was all part of the testing service to find out who we are
dealing with.
Terms and conditions are your sites service displayed in text form
on your site so anything you include here is going to give the
traffic a tell tail sign on what you are like at running your PT
site. Many websites including the top ones have a flawed term being
“We reserve the right to ban, delete your account for any reason”
This term basically seems to say the admin can scam away your money
before you reach payout which isn’t appealing at all. This dated
flawed term should never be included in your PT site if you want to
be known for the best service. We have yet to issue a rating of +10
to Bux.to for example since they include the flawed term.
Your terms of service should never be copied off other PT sites and
should from start to finish be in your own words. Unique terms pages
always give us the feeling they haven’t rushed the construction of
their site and are showing their own initiative with the websites
structure.
Never ban or suspend people for reasons other than confirmed and
proven cheating. It will only come back to haunt you if you ban for
reasons other than cheating since this is an in-click-out business.

Getting the balance right with your rates can be tricky when
especially starting a PT site. The problem at the first stage is you
need £0.01 somewhere in the equation and also the ability to gain
lots of advertisers through cheap advertising costs. If you’re
working with USD it’s best to start with just 1 or 2 £0.01 ads for
the first 2 or 3 months and then up that to 5 $0.01 ads a day when
your members become plentiful.
The best mix for a new PTC site tends to be 2 $0.01 ads supported
with lots of $0.001 ads since this is a very reasonable amount for a
new PTC site and easier to sustain. The more advertisers you have
the faster your sites name will spread given the association between
links. It must be stressed that running a PTC site is an 8 hour a
day job which means you will have to work hard to promote it with
other PTC sites to get the most targeted traffic.
Looking after the members you have goes a long way and in time you
will be rewarded for it so make sure that you produce a website that
shows you understand the money your members makes belongs to them
and not you. Don’t even think about turning it into a scam once the
money builds by running for the hills with everyone’s money.
To run the site full time and hold a legit service will gain you
way more profit than constantly scamming people. Probably the
biggest reason why you should keep legit is that since UrOnlineBiz
has been around, we will find your details, find the trail and bust
any scams with the help of Interpol and the FBI.
Be competitive with your prices as you need to beat the competition
what ever level they are at. This shouldn’t be too hard since only a
hand full of the leading sites have reasonable prices which reduce
the amount of sites you have to compete with.

A way to strengthen your websites position and reputation is to net
work with your competition so you know the administrators at other
sites. Depending on your stance with them you may be able to get
free or cheaper advertising with them if they believe in your
websites setup. 3 websites all offering each other free advertising
progress quickly together where as 3 web sites in competition paying
each other for advertising eat into each others budget limiting the
amount of ads they can go for.
Networking is a simple way to gain more traffic as friends have
their friends and people talk. You will find this teaching in any
good online business seminar such as the X-10. This is can also
reflect back to the service as your members also work the same way.
If you are giving good service to your members they will tell their
friends and then they will sign up and do the same. It’s a little
bit like karma, if you treat your members good the reward is almost
instant and if you treat them bad you get hit back twice as hard
with reduced conversions.
Sign up with forums related to PT websites and promote your
business there if possible with promos that work like a convocation
instead of a pitch that could be for anyone. Work it into existing
threads for example by mentioning what your site will offer better
than what’s being talked about. Make sure you don’t over do it and
look like your spamming for business as this will do more harm than
good.
Use websites like us as we act as the press for online business. If
you believe in your websites product and think your PT site should
be up there with the best you should ask for reviews, ask people to
test your service so you can prove to the world that your site is as
good as you say it is on your landing page.

Building a team for a PT can be a very useful thing to do when
starting out. This is because the sites that are known for having a
team behind them tend to be the strongest sites since 2, 3 brains
are better than 1. It can be a long hard challenge to run a PT site
solo and can be harder to gain a trusting reputation because sadly a
lot of sites that are run solo are run by a scammer who wants to run
with the earnings. A site that didn’t help this stereotype is PTR-Hun
that nearly everyone found to be run by one scammer.
Another good reason to build a team when working with a PT site is
that once you have been around for awhile and your member rates get
to around 100.000 you are going to be swamped with emails from your
members. You can either purchase an auto responder or halt sign ups
at this point as going beyond it would be a disaster for your
business and probably your inbox.
Bux.to now has over 700.000 members and thankfully uses an auto
responder to deal with much of the demand but in general its one
person who gives the human communication when needed. That website
is now hiring staff to keep up with the demand and probably
something they wish they had started doing at 100.000 members. So
plan ahead for this because people like a human response to their
questions and if you have the right number of staff to deal with
that you can only continue to grow.
