This
just seems too good to be true, a PTR site offering up to £0.05 for a
paid to read email. You will find this advertised on their landing page
where they have listed their services benefits. Like with many PTR sites
this one includes a small PTC area too however on the day of testing
here we found there were no ads to click. We had done a lot of back
ground checking on NickelsByEmail before signing up and had found that
the owner had been offline for a long period of time a few months back.
Back
then it caused an outrage with the members who were not happy about the
lack of support they were getting which kicked up a lot of bad press on
the forums about them. Once the owner was back online he set the record
straight on most of these forums himself and there hasn’t appeared to be
any problems since.
Performance
The
owner might be back working on the site but the advertisers seem to of
run for the hills since we didn’t receive any emails or contest PTC
links either which prevented us from getting any earning on the first
day. It seemed advertisers might have been the ones most affected by
what ever happened here in the past as we had never found a PTR site
without advertising in at least 1 area.
Evaluation
It
seems pretty hard to believe that when ads are around they will be
around $0.05 considering how dead business seems to be there. Normally
$0.05 would mean the service is extremely popular and doing well for
itself as they could afford to reward its members with $0.05 ads. Even
on ClixSense $0.05 is very rare.
What
ever the ads are really worth there’s no getting away from the fact that
today they are worth nothing given there are no ads or emails. This
service seems dead and until we see any activity here we are giving this
site the rating of 0
