Mermaid emails
When signing up with this site we had the usual waiting for a
registration access email to come. When we had filled in most of the
registration ticking all our interests we wanted to test the page
came back as a fail. It told us that we had not selected the right
amount of interests. This site was not getting off to a good start
since they have not even bothered to put how many you are able to
tick. We tried to un-tick the boxes each time until the process
passed which was incredible time consuming since we needed as much
as we could get and were not down to below 20.
After this flawed process we finally passed with 18 interests. We
then swiftly received our confirmation email and logged in. When
proceeded to the PTC area and found 2 links to click both at $0.25
which was very appealing. When we clicked the link instead of
getting a count down we were given a page that wanted us to put in
the right numbers from a selection of 4 number sets. We chose the
right set to get past the security process as normal and only to be
presented with this message:
You have just clicked a cheat link!
If you speak English and are paying attention, please close this
page immediately! If you close it before the timer expires, it will
not count against you. If you do not, you will lose five to ten
cents from your account and after clicking three cheat links, your
account will be deleted.
They just lost their chance of a good rating. This site produced an
unprofessional message for normal activity on this case which shows
us they are scamming by accusing people of cheating for doing the
process as normal. What ever they intended to do whether it was
something we missed on the PTC page it was pointless and falsely
advertised.
After finding an instant scam we concluded our work on this site and
instantly rated them at -9 for poor service, unclear information and
unprofessional manner with members and false advertising. They would
probably say they are just trying to stop people cheating but in
this case they have cheated themselves and gone over board.
-9 for abysmal service
