Isabelmarco’s Moneymaker interview
UOB: Hello to the admin of Isabelmarco.com thank you for taking the time to
answer our questions, first we would like to ask what inspired you to
create your PTC site, did you have much prior experience within this
industry?
Well I had that idea already for more then 5 months, but I wanted to
have more experience so I started to subscribe in more then 50 PTC’s ,
Wrote everything down , positive and negative points of each off them.
And in January I bought my script, started to change it, I wanted to
reach a lot of people, because not everybody talks or understand good
English. So I changed my script into 6 languages, also because I speak
and understand them all.
And on the first of February I started with my own Isabelmarco’s
Moneymaker.
UOB: What was the most difficult thing you found when starting a PTC site?
Finding advertisers was really difficult and also where to
advertise, in the first 3 weeks I only had 300 members, and then I found
a good system (which I am not going to tell you here…. lol, that’s my
secret)and my traffic started to raise very quick. In one month I
reached 13.000 members.
UOB: Did it take long to gain a profit after starting up?
Well I started to gain profit after one month, little by little.
UOB: As the PTC business model is clearly becoming very popular now with
cheap kit scripts sold from various vendors we see a lot of new sites
come and go within their first few weeks. There are clearly many reasons
why many PTC sites have a flash in the pan live span but your site seems
to have progressed beyond the tricky start up phase. Could you tell us
what made your site stand out and last while so many sites that started
when yours did simply disappeared?
Yes I made that mistake too, these cheap scripts (mine cost 29$ I think)
are worthless if you want a good business, I changed a lot in my script,
but was not capable to change the administration, so after some time the
troubles started, the administration couldn’t follow the high traffic
and neither did the Host. So I hired a professional, and he changed some
things in the script, and we moved to a dedicated server, so don’t think
that it’s cheap to start a good PTC business. A dedicated server costs
you some 300$/month.
Now the web is running good, but administration is very bad so……………back
to work, now we are making a totally new script (don’t ask me for the
price, gives me headache….lol).
But all together I can tell you that it invested (new script included)
some 6000$.
UOB: We understand that cheating is a big problem in the industry still to
this day and one of the biggest reasons major PTC sites have to increase
their payout dates. What are your views on these cheaters and do you
find they are easy to catch?
Well, about cheaters, yes it’s a big problem, hacking accounts, auto
clickers, multiple accounts, factious emails and so on. I think we have
to fight against that with another view, not putting anti cheating
programs and all that stuff, complicates everything. But instead look
for other solutions directly to the base of cheaters.
We are working on that. So look out….
UOB: What would you say to those people who have not heard of your site
before, what makes your site have the edge on others and what are they
missing out on?
For all the people who haven’t heard of us (and there are millions out
there).
We are here to stay for a long time, we want to earn a good income
(don’t we want that all?) and of course for our members that they can
earn some extra cash or even more. We want to be different then others!!
And we hope we can start a revolution in the PTC world.
UOB: You have recently made a number of changes to your business including a
new host and TOS change. This is a good sign as it shows a business
expanding. This seems to have happened at a rapid rate here, have you
identified why you were able to gain these good traffic rates or was it
luck?
Well you need some luck too, but I can say also that we are working more
then 14 hrs/day. Sometimes you need to make changes and also make them
at the time they are necessary. When Host went down, I lost a lot of
energy, but after some hours we started to fight back…. And look where
we are now. A business has to expand, without growth there is no future.
If you see that traffic is going down don’t wait till tomorrow, start to
look for the reason and try to recover it as soon as possible.
UOB: We like that your site presents everyone with something of an ID photo
theme. It is all too rare that a PTC provides personal information about
who owns it and shows a clear effort to provide many communication
systems with the site owner. To make the readers aware we tested you
before we wrote this interview by using your live chat which worked
instantly just 30 minutes ago with a quick response to our request for
an interview. It is clear that you are making a lot of effort to
generate member satisfaction and trust, is this one of your main aims
with the site and do you think you will be able to keep up such a fast
responding service once you gain another influx of members?
Yes you need to win the trust of your members, talk directly to them as
much as possible, it gives them a lot off confidence, and when they
purchase something, we approve it very quick, mostly within 12 hrs. We
will try everything to maintain the fast responding, its one of the most
important things in Business.
UOB: Did you acquire much 3rd party help in the production of your
site for instance coders, designers or moderating staff?
Yes of course, you can’t manage this alone. We hired a professional
coder and designer, and have also moderating staff.
UOB: Do you think you will recruit more staff in the coming months?
Yes of course, we need to, if we want to maintain our fast responding
UOB: What do you think Isabelmarco.com will be like in another 3 months?
In 3 months, hmm…. Difficult to say…I would say different, with some
40.000 members (or more ??)
UOB: Do you find this industry to be very competitive, are their many other
PTC sites you would rather do better than or do other PTC sites hold no
importance to yours?
Yes of course it’s competitive, but like I said I want to make it
different from others, we have a lot of ideas to work out.
UOB: We have seen many PT sites from America banning a lot of other nations
for various reasons such as higher cheater volumes from certain
countries. What are your views on this, is it part of your policy or do
your believe in a global market with an aim to hold a globally effective
anti cheat system?
Yes I have seen this, I am against that, everybody has the right to
join. But I mentioned it before we are working at a system to fight this
problem from the roots.
