Brief
History
DailyClicks.biz was started late 2007 and since then has gained over
107696 members. The site seems to have done very well in particular with
traffic rankings and between January and February was at a very high
peak which was even way above that of the traffic at ClixSense.com. The
site ran into a lot of problems shortly after this peak and became one
of the first PTC sites to have their account locked by PayPal.
We must admit at the time they were listed as a confirmed scam but at
the time the site wasn’t being very vocal about the events it was facing
behind the scenes. Not long after this happened to DailyClicks, PayPal
decided it would be a clever move to do the same to most other PTC sites
which is now the reason why most PTC sites use AlertPay.
Design
The design
of this site has always remained unique thanks to the unique corporate
logo ID and layout which does not seem to match many existing scripts.
The banner of the site is quite large and therefore seems to take a
while to load and sometimes ends up as scrambled code which is more
likely to be a server issue.
Advertising
Although
this site took quite a beating on traffic rates the traffic is still
high and current around the traffic rank of 4,102. Considering this
level of popularity the site has some good prices for what their
advertising space is worth. Here you will find 1001 ads are worth $20.00
and 2000 for $40.00.
Referral
system
Unfortunately we couldn’t find anything out about this section. Some
rotten luck here is that the sites server problems don’t just occur on
the main page banner but also when loading the entire referral purchase
page. After several minutes of trying to refresh the page it became
pretty clear that it wasn’t going to load anytime soon.
Upgrades
To
add to the problems with the server there also seems to be an error
which prevents you from logging in as it requires you to type in a
security code which does not exist. This also seems to come with some
scrambled programming problems when refreshing the page here. Again were
unable to access any information on Upgrades due to this serious error.
Performance
Of course
it’s again probably not the best time to review this site but it is the
current state of affairs here which is the most up to date information
we have to work to. What ever is going on here with the server and the
growing list of bugs it is clearly not how things are usual around here.
This is because no site with a traffic rank like this site would be able
to achieve such a level with the current problems we are finding here.
Performance is reported to have been good here in the past but which all
these recent issues it looks set to stay in the past.
This
server problem also prevented us from even viewing the ads page without
being logged in. This makes the credibility of the ad prices hang on a
very thin line.
Conclusion
Much of
this bugs on this site seem to be found all over with scrambled
programming such as Warning: mysql_close(): no MySQL-Link resource
supplied in /home/dailycli/public_html/footer.php on line 37
Putting
the current bugs aside there was a reason this site was one of the first
to have their accounts locked by PayPal and it is simply because they
were unable to manage with the high level of activity and pass payout
when this site was seriously popular. Because of the back log and over
stretched staff impatient members took it up with PayPal which just made
the situation worse and has caused a bigger back log with all the
administration of dealing with PayPal bureaucracy.
Weather
the back log is still causing this service to lag there is again no
visual site of a statement regarding it and people have still not been
paid after months of waiting with no replies to their support questions
regarding it. If this site is struggling as it clearly is with their
server they should come clean and tell the members instead of keeping
them guessing the legitimacy of the service.
This will
not provide a flattering rating for this site and it must be said that
most of the problems encountered here seem to be server related which is
still their responsibility. We hope that this site can be reviewed in
the near future with a working server and less payment waits.
