Brief history

ClickPay.ca started back in January when PTC sites were reaching their peak as PayPal had not yet changed its policy regarding the PTC industry. ClickPay.ca hit the Alexa chart quite early on and has made some gradual progress into it. Much of the dips in progress here have been due to the server issues with the site which caused it to be down for quite some time. Because this site was first reviewed under the old rules it was reviewed too early so it will be interesting to see if it has improved on its initial setup.

Design

The design has always been quite unique here which is impressive for a site that seems to be run off the YourOwnBux script. Hopefully this site has fixed the backdoors that come with the script but guessing by their ability to provide a unique design they must know the code well. This site has made good use of Flash which is not so common on PTC sites and gives this site an edge in terms of design.

Advertising

Advertising pricing have dramatically improved here since the site was last reviewed. The advertising prices not match traffic statistics making it good value. Here you will find 1000 views are worth $9.50, 2000 views for $18 and 5000 for $44.95. Like many PTC sites this one is making the higher packages better value for money than the lesser packages in a bid to increase profits which will in turn provide the members will a more reliable service.

Referral system

The referral system is another area that has drastically improved on price and much more than with the advertising. Here you can purchase 5 referrals for $4.99, 15 referrals for $12.99, 30 for $22.99 (hot price) and lastly 50 referrals for $36.99. The last two packages hold some of the best prices in the industry for the amount of referrals you get. It must be said however that these prices are for a standard down line of 50%

Upgrades

There are 3 packages offers for upgrades here. One with a month’s duration for $5.99, another for 6 month’s at $29.99 and lastly a year’s membership for $49.99. The upgrade packages contain the ability to mail your downline, earn $0.01 each click and $0.01 each click from your referrals, priority payments: processed in 2 working days, priority ordering on any purchase gurenteed same day delivery and less non-credit advertisment.

Performance

On the day of testing we found 7 ads to click all worth $0.005 per click which is still light weight. This seems to be the one area the service has not been able to improve on. Some argue that a 50% down line is easier to sustain but it has been proven that 100% is too and produces higher conversion with ads and more sign ups for the site itself. It would be well worth this site considering converting to 100% performance.

Conclusion

This site has improved a lot with advertising prices but the performance is under the industry standard for standard members. There have been the odd reliability issues with the server and today we find it is impossible to use their support ticket system as their security number shows up as a broken image here. Like so many PTC sites ClickPay.ca has been let down by the payment processor PayPal. This caused a great deal of service lag with the system. This is likely to have been caused by an ill-advised disputer expecting to force service improvements combined with PayPals lack of ability to tell the difference between a legitimate dispute and an illogical self preserving one.

For this ClickPay will not be down marked as here at UrOnlineBiz.com we do not condone the filing of PayPal disputes over accidental service delays.

ClickPay are another PTC site that find most of the cheaters have a Chinese IP but instead of banning them they have made the decision to put 100 days pay wait on all Chinese members to give them plenty of time to check their accounts in detail for cheating for some reason this area is poorly written with caps and bad English.

Initially it seems this site is in a bit of a hurry. The UrONlineBiz.com manager Phil had an email of the owner from this site applying for the UOB seal of approval the day before ClickPay.ca launched. As much as we admire enthusiasm it’s important to have an understanding of running an online business for the first time. The point is that it always takes time to get a new business a reputation and up to a level of high profits. A new business doesn’t become those things on their first day but more 3 or 4 months down the line for a PTC. If you are lucky and play your cards right!

The seal is deliberately made to have some demanding requirements to make sure it really is a sign of a good business. When I took up the job to actually review this site I became very sceptical that the sites own states are truthful since this site was started on February 18th 2008 and they claim they have around 2411 members already. I have never seen a PTC site get so many members so fast and in most cases the number has been closer to 300 a week after starting.

They do however hold a very busy forum with 1 proof of payment now up for view. If the site stats are true this site must have been self promoting itself well but I haven’t seen their ads myself. The one payment proof we have seen so far is only to a moderator which we never count given the association with the site owner.

There purchase referrals page comes with 1 deal of 15 referrals for $16.35 which is slightly an above average price for a new PTC site. However it is good that they have the deal of 15 referrals if they are going to have one deal. This is just better than having 5 referrals as one package as any boost in earnings is going to be more noticeable from 15.

The advertising page has a very good set up here with banner ad options on the left and click ads on the right. The click ad prices are fairly reasonable but the list itself is not in numeric order which is a bit messy. Here you can purchase 1000 ads for just $9.50 or 2500 ads for $22.40. All purchases here can be made via AlertPay or E-gold.

Performance

This is where I become even more shocked that they applied for the UOB seal of approval. This is a light weight PTC site that only has 6 ads all worth $0.005 and this site has 2411 members from less than a week in service? Something isn’t right about this.

Conclusion

Anything below $0.01 these days just isn’t enough for the PTC industry and people expect $0.01 ads if it’s a PTC site. Ads below $0.01 are what PTR sites are about which a vastly out dated and becoming very unpopular. To try and make money on this site would take up far too much of people’s time that they could be put to better use on a site that pays them twice as much.

This shows us that their referrals package is actually slightly extortionate since even your referrals here only give you $0.005 per click. On most PTC sites you are getting the optimum $0.01 off your referrals too and they are usually priced around the same as here. So how can they justify their 15 referrals for $16.35 being value for money when you earn so much less from them?

This website clearly has no concept of what the PTC industry now requires. The prices for referrals are nothing short of unrealistic given the lack of performance here. I give this site the rating of -5 for trying to charge high performance prices for poor performance packages and an overall lack of performance which wastes people’s time.
