Brief History

Buxdol is a new PTC site using the latest from the SecureBux script. The site has managed to hit the Alexa Chart very shortly after its release and has already made some rapid progress up the chart. Because the progress has been so fast there is currently no data recorded in regards to their actual rank but it seems to be currently around 80,000 which is great for a new site. The site is estimated to have around 6622 members and paid out $896.07 so far. This quick record of payouts is due to the sites low minimum payout of just $5.00

Design

The design here is very modern and clean showing the best of what can be achieved with the SecureBux script. The banner holds a very contemporized design but could be sharper. The rest of the layout is just what it should be which is very simple with all the emphasis in the right areas such as navigation and site offers. Since this site has managed to do well with the banner it might be better still if they were to also include a unique logo ID. This means having more than just a white text spelling the sites name and having some of the sites theme incorporated into the logo type. There are some bugs with the sites layout on certain pages such as advertising which has text bleeding over the page boundaries.

Advertising

On the advertising page I find 1000 ads are worth $12.50, 2,500 ads for $30.00 and 5000 ads for $60.00. The low end prices here hold better value for money than the higher which isn't a good marketing move as the high end packages look less inviting and there for less profitable for the site. Of course lots of smaller sales is good but unbalanced to an extent where its only low end packages problems can arise. However this site does seem set to achieve some very inviting results on the Alexa chart which should help this site gain a lot of attention of potential advertisers looking to get in on that traffic. 

Referral system

Here 5 referrals cost $5.50, 15 referrals for $13.99, 50 referrals for $40 and 100 referrals for $84.99. Unlike the advertising section we can see here that the right marketing tactics have been established with better value for money on the higher packages making them more inviting while the site makes a larger than normal profit from any low end sale. Unfortunately the down line here is only 50% but thankfully the price isn't too unreasonable considering.

Upgrades

The benefits with premium membership here are 125% earnings on your own clicks and 100% on your referrals clicks with the minimum of 20 ads a day. Priority payments are also included. All of this costs $39.99 for 1 full year. Since the down line is only that of most PTC sites standard membership down line this isn't the most exciting package. However the price reflects the content well with no over pricing.

Performance

I found 12 $0.01 ads to click when checking the surf ads page of this site which is a good number for standard membership since premium provides 20 and above. A sign that the industry standards are becoming more demanding are that the number of ads for a standard membership have really increased. It used to be that only 4 or 5 ads were provided unless you upgraded.

Conclusion

Aside from the low down line issue the rest of the site is quite acceptable. The design is clean and inviting for both members and advertisers combined with realistic prices throughout. A couple of newbie mistakes can be found here and there such as the TOS error and programming issues with the layout. Hopefully this site can improve the situation with the down line to improve its chances of making a bigger impact on the industry and avoid being swallowed up by the higher performing competition.
