Method: PTC
Agebux.com is a simple PTC that has observed the industry standards
as the New Year has started. By doing their market research
correctly they have including a forum and proof of payment section
to back up their site stats. The proof of payments here are
plentiful and show a good degree of legitimate work from the
administrators as this site has progressed.
Like with many PTC sites recently they have been slightly hindered
from reaching payment deadlines through PayPal issues and large
increases of members which cause a back log of work. After seeing
bux.to struggle to cope with so many members back in October many
sites have decided to take on new staff early but of course some
still remain small businesses until they really need to expand.
The sites design is a little out of practice for a business site
simply because they have used a repeating background and an out of
sync banner. There are no big problems however but it would be wise
of the owners to play around with the design a little more and try
to produce something a little more clean cut.
The script in use is fine however with no predictable flaws
excluding the classic unethical TOS page which comes with most PTC
templates. The sites stats feature is very useful here and tells us
that they currently have around 6620 members with $222 paid out so
far. There have been a few sites that have rushed their reviews of
Agebux.com and dumped them into black lists which aren’t right
because this site is clearly doing something right.
The current member to pay out ratio is not bad and for along while
before PayPal went dead on this industry Agebux.com happened to be
one of the faster paying sites. Because payments have been slightly
late here inevitably some of their members panicked and reported
them as scam but this site isn’t a scam because they do intend to
pay their members regardless of how late the payments are. It’s
important that the definition of scam is corrected and people
realise that it’s only a scam if they are intending not to pay you.
The advertising prices here do not appear as the cheapest around
however this site hasn’t just come out of the box. It’s arguable
that a slight reduction wouldn’t be such a bad idea however. The
rate for 1000 ads is $19.20 and $39.50. Down $5.00 on each of these
and they will probably get the balance right.
The price of referrals isn’t too bad with standard rates for most of
the options. The higher the packages the better the deals get here
which is good for those who regularly use PTC sites and are fine
with purchasing many referrals. 35 referrals here cost only $33.00
which is without question a good rate for that many.
Performance
We found a good 5 ads worth $0.01 with a standard membership here.
It’s a very common performance for a PTC these days which may not be
so unique but it still argues the point why not give this site a go?
Looking at the sites stats again we do find something that makes
this performance have an edge and that is the minimum payout is only
$3.00 which is pretty easy to make with their referral packages.
Conclusion
The basic question regarding this site as the moment is “is it scam”
it’s a simple no for the answer and a waist of time to try and
complain about them. We have all seen how some sites that could do
the industry a lot of good be tossed away and wrongly called scam
just because of a few hiccups. Of course any PTC site can turn into
a scam at any moment as it all depends on the intentions of the
owner but most of the smart PTC owners know that scams don’t pay in
the PTC industry. The ones that stay legit are the ones that make
the most money and give people the opportunity to live off their own
business. But simply because sites can turn bad we have a state of
paranoia in the industry.
For example after trying to promote UrOnlineBiz.com on some PT
related forums we ourselves have seen messages like “what’s the pay
out, its probably just scam” as laughable as that is since we are
not even a PT site or have any means to scam people it shows a side
of people that are just too on guard about what site they should
trust and also how quick people are too black list sites.
After checking the facts from a proper investigation we see no foul
play at Agebux.com and see it as a classic example of sites that
become victim to “scam paranoia”. We give this site the rating of +3
for high performance with low minimum payout. The only negative
aspects we have seen are the high advertising prices.
