Brief History
IceBux.com has been doing alright on the alexa
traffic chart for just over 2 months now with a
current rank of 90,378. The owner has shown
quite a lot of interest in the reviews of other
PTC sites at UOB and tells us it what reading
them that gave them the direction to make their
site stand out and do well. This enthusiasm was
noticeable when they asked us to review
IceBux.com.
Design
The design at
IceBux.com is good given the layout script in
use. The title matches the theme well but also
in a minimal way which gives them plenty of room
in the future to change the graphics around and
maybe around play with photography as well as
illustrations. Below the banner its a very
simple design on a black background with a
layout you would expect from any PTC site. Some
of the pages such as the upgrades page contain
very dark text on a black background which makes
it harder to catch your attention or to even
read.
Advertising
The prices here are
pretty much incredible as 2000 ads are only
worth $12.00, 3000 ads for $18.00, 5000 for
$29.00 and 10000 ads for $55.00. This is nothing
short of incredible value for money and
advertisers would be fools to miss bargains like
these. This site may have a more junior Alexa
rank but more than enough to provide effective
advertising so this site is being generous for
the advertisers. If this site can afford to keep
these prices as their own traffic increases they
should be able to make far more advertising
sales than those sites running typical prices.
Referral system
The problem with the referral system here is
that we cannot find any information on the site
that tells us exactly what the down line % is. 5 referrals
are worth $7.49, 25 for $31.99 and 100 for
$94.99. With these prices standard members
should be getting 100% down line earnings which
is still the industry standard and of these
prices.
Upgrades
The premium membership benefits would suggest
that the standard down line is not of 100% as
premium membership is offering that. Any ad you
click yourself is worth $0.02 with premium here
along with 5 referrals added to your down line
and priority payments within 2 days.
Performance
When testing the
premium membership here I found 11 $0.02 ads to
click which is good considering the rate of each
ad. Please be aware I did find a nasty cheat
link here too which is ok so long as your
account is not deleted for clicking it instantly
and rather after a count down. You finger can
slip onto a cheat link so if your account is
getting good with plenty of investments you will
be very hard done by if you lose your account
instantly from clicking it. If it is only
deleted after a count down you can only blame
yourself as there is plenty of time to click the
ad away and it still counters auto-clickers.
Conclusion
The owners of this
site are very enthusiastic and this should help
them to fine tune the site when reading this
review. If the standard down line is not 100%
they need to try to push for that. They hold
bargain prices on their advertising prices but
still have plenty of room to increase rates
without losing the bargain tag. All the industry
standard of the past can be found here with a
working forum and proof of payments page. A new
industry requirement has also been passed here
with a correctly worded TOS page which will save
them losing points in the ratings page.
